First (re)boot: Black screen & mouse
I constantly get device conflicts and have to reboot Vista. I interact with clients all day, and have to reboot during meetings with them. Not good. I am NOT a Luser. You need to boot to the Windows XP CD and follow the prompts for a Clean Installation. This is not a Vista issue but a Windows XP issue.

I have downloaded some SATA drivers, but I think one version installs in Windows and one installs via pressing F6 during Vista installation. hangs and restarts with the aforementioned error appearing... and the cycle continues. I would uninstall both, and start over, updating it to it for Vista but through trial and error I have gotten everything to work except the VGA ouput.
