Errors during new Vista install - BSOD, Error Codes and other erro
I have tried turning the RAID off in BIOS, because I don't use it, but it still throws up the error message during installation. I'm not sure what it is that it is after??? Any more ideas?? The installer is different software from the Vista image that gets loaded and when it kicks it - if it doesn't have what it needs, you get error Boot from the DVD and do a clean install as a test. Yes - you can do a clean install with the Upgrade package. Install Vista the first time and do not enter the key.

Make sure all files required for installation are available, Error code: 0x80070020 I've seen this error in some forums, but mostly having to do with windows updates, not Vista installations.
